3.4        Electrical and Instrumentation Revamping

Our company is able to supply the complete engineering design for industrial electrical and instrumentation installations.

In particular, starting from medium voltage reception, the design includes the dimensioning of equipment, instrumentation, cables of:

  1. Power transformers cabins with M.V. and L.V switchboards.
  2. Distribution boards (MCC’s, auxiliary services switchboards, power factor correction boards, alarms boards etc.).
  3. Lighting installation, with the definition of the lamp type and position in order to obtain the required illumination level.
  4. Emergency power supply (lighting and machinery) from separate sources with automatic commutation.
  5. General grounding network.
  6. Rete di terra.
  7. Lightning protection.

Our experience extends to H.V./M.V. substations and to large M.V. distribution networks with combined supplies from internal generators and the external public network. This situation is typical in cogeneration plants.

We are also specialised in the study of plant automation both with DCS or PC and PLC, and are capable of furnishing the complete design and programme listing.

For the design, we can use indifferently our standards or those of the Customer.

We can also supply entire electrical installations on a turnkey basis, sub-contracting to the construction to companies with whom we co-operate on a regular basis.
